March 17 Information Update

March 17/20


Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s);
Thank you for all your support over the last few days. With the cancelation of classes, this is new
uncharted territory for all schools. Thank you for your patience as we journey through this time
together with schools being closed indefinitely. May God continue to keep you and your children
safe and healthy. You have our entire staff praying for you.
Parent-Teacher Interviews previously scheduled for Wednesday, March 18 and Thursday, March 19
are cancelled.
Tuesday, March 17 - Thursday, March 19: Teacher preparation days to get online learning ready for
your children. Our Staff is working hard to develop online learning activities and plan for online
learning for students.
Monday, March 30, 2020: Schoolwork will begin to be posted on Google Classroom or sent to you
via email. This is considered the first day of online learning for your child(ren). There will be more
information shared and online help and tutorials provided please stay tuned.
PowerSchool: All parents will continue to have access to monitor their child’s assignments and
marks via our online reporting. If you need assistance, please call the office.
Technology: If your child does not have access to technology, the school will sign you out a
Chromebook based on availability. Your child’s teacher will coordinate this following the break.
Our team is committed to keeping the education of your child/children as our priority. While this
make look different, we are confident we can continue to provide a level of instruction and
engagement you have come to expect from our school. We will work to make this new reality as
normal as possible for our students.
