Grade 9 transition to St. Joseph and Notre Dame High Schools begin in January every year. Students are designated to our high schools based on catchment area in the city. As well, students can be accepted to St. Joe’s if they are successful applicants to the Falcons Ball Academy Program or to Notre Dame if they are successful applicants to the Hockey Academy or Knowledge and Employability Programs.
High school counsellors will arrange for students to come to the high schools for a tour in January. Then they will meet again to talk about high school opportunities and selection of courses. There will also be opportunities for parents to visit the schools and hear about programs at open house events in the spring.
